WHO THIS SERVICE IS FOR

A logistics setup designed around real sourcing decisions.

For importers moving commercial cartons, pallets, furniture, equipment or repeat inventory that has outgrown parcel and air options.

01

LCL consolidation

Combine suitable cargo into a less-than-container shipment when a full container is not yet economical.

02

FCL planning

Plan 20-foot, 40-foot and high-cube container movements around cargo size and loading requirements.

03

Packing and delivery review

Check whether cartons, pallets, crates or special delivery arrangements are needed before departure.

BEFORE THE CARGO MOVES

The cost items that matter in ocean freight

Ocean freight is a chain of services rather than one sea rate. A comparable quotation should make the origin, main freight and destination scope visible.

01

Origin handling

Pickup, warehouse receiving, consolidation, export documents, loading and port delivery can be separate cost items.

02

LCL measurements

Accurate packed volume is critical because LCL is commonly influenced by cubic volume and minimum charges.

03

Container loading

Container selection depends on usable space, cargo weight, loading method and whether special equipment is required.

04

Destination delivery

Port release, customs, chassis, appointment, unloading and final-mile access should be confirmed before booking.

TYPICAL CARGO

Start with what you are buying.

Product type, packed dimensions, weight and destination are more useful than guessing which freight service you need.

  • General merchandise and retail inventory
  • Furniture and home products
  • Palletised commercial cargo
  • Machinery and industrial equipment
  • Multi-supplier consolidation
  • Repeat 20ft, 40ft and 40HQ shipments

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Useful answers before requesting a quotation.

When does LCL make sense?

LCL can make sense when commercial cargo is too large for parcel services but does not use enough space for a full container. The comparison should include both origin and destination LCL charges.

What is needed for an FCL quotation?

Provide the supplier location, container preference if known, product type, estimated weight, loading method, destination port or delivery address and required timing.

Can cargo from several suppliers share one ocean shipment?

Yes. Cargo can be received at a China warehouse and consolidated after arrival schedules, documents and packing are coordinated.

Can oversized cargo move by ocean freight?

Often yes, but dimensions, lifting points, packing, weight distribution and destination unloading capability must be checked before the route and equipment are selected.
